Organ for National Healing Reconciliation and Integration.

The “Organ project” aims at strengthening the mechanisms for promoting the rule of law and democratic governance in Zimbabwe through citizen participation and dialogue

Development Objectives

The project works towards strengthening the capacity of the Organ for National Healing, Reconciliation and Integration to discharge its mandate of establishing a mechanism for national healing, cohesion and unity and laying the foundation for a society characterised by mutual respect, tolerance, and development and where individuals enjoy the freedoms as enshrined in the Constitution

The project focuses on activities that lead to the following outcomes:

1.       Set up the office by clearly understanding the capacity requirements of the office both in terms of human resources and procurement 

2.       Develop National Framework for Peace

3.       Conflict analysis undertaken and documented (history programme)

4.       Devise a communications strategy

5.       Skills for CPMRT developed among stakeholders
