UNDP staff welcome new UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Country Office in Zimbabwe held a welcome lunch for the incoming RC/RR, Mr Alain Noudehou. Mr Noudehou replaces Dr Agostinho Zacarias who left the Country Office in 2009. Since then Ms Elizabeth Lwanga was serving as interim RC/RR until the appoinment of Mr Noudehou.  

Before coming to Zimbabwe, Mr Noudehou wasCountry Director in Tanzania (2007-2010) and served as Deputy Resident Representative in Rwanda (2004- 2007). He started his UNDP career in Gabon as a LEAD - Leadership Development Programme (2002-2004).  Before his career with UNDP, Alain worked for CHF International Inc., an International Development Service Provider. He rose through the ranks from Program Officer (1995- 1996) to Country Director for CHF in South Africa (1996-2000) to Deputy Director of Program Initiatives (2000 – 2002).  He was a Management Consultant for ICF-Kaiser Inc. USA, (1994-1995).
