Programmatic Framework
The programmatic framework, which is guiding the work of the UN at country level, is the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF). The UNDAF is formulated jointly with the host Government and consultations are held with other stakeholders, such as the donor community, Civil Society and the business sector.
Zimbabwe United Nations Development Assistance Framework The Zimbabwe United Nations Development Assistance Framework (ZUNDAF) is the strategic programme framework for the UN Country Team (UNCT) in Zimbabwe. It describes the collective response of the UNCT to the priorities in the national development framework for the period 2007 to 2011.

Country Program Document Drawing from the broad programmatic framework of the ZUNDAF, UNDP has formulated a Country Program Document (CPD), which covers the period 2007 - 2009. In the CPD, UNDP has formulated the results to be achieved within the said period, which contribute logically towards the ZUNDAF outcomes. The document also includes implementation arrangements and a budget.

Country Program Action Plan The Country Programme Action Plan (CPAP) is the detailed operational plan for UNDP's Country Programme Document. Just as in the CPD, the results described in the CPAP contribute logically to the achievement of UNDAF outcomes.

Annual Work Plan Annual Work Plans (AWPs) are prepared every year, on the basis of intended results, strategies, budgets and implementing partners identified in the CPAP, reflecting achievements and lessons learned of the preceding year. AWPs are informed by the annual programme review and they are the building blocks for the annual Standard Progress Reports.
